Wintec : Montana Catering

Montana Catering won the catering contract for the Hamilton 400 Motor racing event. They faced the unique challenge of training 450 part-time staff in events catering, within a very tight timeframe. They wanted general skills training in:

• Corporate Food
• Beverage Service
• Kitchen Assistance

It was essential the training was customised around Montana Catering's systems and processes.

Solution
Learning Works worked with Wintec's School of International Tourism, Hospitality and Events and staff from Montana Catering to develop a series of four customised training workbooks, which provided the following:

• General information about the various skills being taught
• Support to the face to face component of training delivered by the School
• Incorporated information about Montana Catering systems and processes
• Professionally presented resources with full-colour images and illustrations throughout
• All resources dual branded to represent both Wintec and Montana Catering.
